Boost Your Career Options

Internships play a critical role in building a flourishing career, offering work experience and practical knowledge, while providing the opportunity to build a professional network.

If you’re in the STEM and cybersecurity fields of study, employers want you; they’re open to students in other disciplines, as well.

We've partnered with Brazen, an experienced provider of virtual fairs, to help our students make connections.

Agenda

CCI’s virtual internship and job fair includes a panel with employers followed by one-on-one sessions with dozens of prospective employers.

10 to 11 a.m.: CCI Internship and Job Fair Panel

Students are invited to attend an information panel in which employers will share an overview of their internship and job opportunities. Students get the chance to discuss opportunities with industry leaders, get tips on applying for positions, and learn about job expectations.

11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: CCI Internship and Job Fair Booth Exhibition

Students can visit employers’ virtual booths. After registering, students can create a profile and upload their résumés to connect with recruiters and program leaders through one-on-one live messaging or video calls.

We advise you to review your résumé prior to the virtual fair. Feel free to utilize this free online job search resource or visit your institution’s career center for helpful tips and tricks.

Hear Employers' Requirements, Wishes, Expectations

Talented interns can become future employees, equipped with in-depth knowledge about an organization and its work culture.  Participation in the event is free.

At this and future internship fairs, companies aren't required to hire interns, and there is no minimum hiring requirement.

If you’re an employer who’d like to participate in our Internship & Job Fair, contact CCI’s Austin Shock at ashock@vt.edu.
