Eta Nahapetian

Eta Nahapetian is CCI’s Director of Outreach.

Her work focuses on building relationships and partnerships that expand CCI’s reach and impact across Virginia and beyond. She works with CCI’s academic, industry, government, and community partners to strengthen workforce and innovation programs, create new opportunities for collaboration, and connect CCI’s research and talent with real-world applications.

Nahapetian brings more than 20 years of experience in public-sector leadership, with a focus on strategy, innovation, economic development, and ecosystem building. Before joining CCI, she served with the Department of Economic Initiatives for Fairfax County, Virginia. There, she led and supported initiatives including the Fairfax Founders Fund, which provided grants and technical assistance to more than 150 early-stage technology companies that went on to raise more than $23 million, as well as regional investment forums that connected companies with investors and helped generate more than $65 million in company funding.

Nahapetian received an MBA from UC Berkeley and B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University.
