One of NoVa Node’s primary strategies is to support Virginia’s cybersecurity innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

We embrace a holistic approach, serving as a conduit to resources to encourage commercialization and development of cyber discoveries. 

CCI NoVa Node supports this ecosystem with programs that both directly and indirectly bolster innovation and entrepreneurship by:

• Providing startups and early-stage companies with personnel resources through workforce development programs.
• Connecting companies with subject matter experts from academia to solve their most pressing problems.

Some of NoVa Node's hallmark programs are the CATAPULT and ASCEND Funds and Commonwealth Cyber Incubator + Accelerator (CCI+A), run in partnership with CCI Hub. We are currently accepting applications for the 2026 cohort at novacci@gmu.edu. Learn more about this program.
