Background
Medina works as CCI's Communications Specialist, working to highlight CCI's accomplishments and spread awareness about student-focused and research-focused opportunities through multimedia efforts. Previously, Medina worked as a Communications Specialist for Virginia Tech's National Security Institute and the Ted and Karyn Hume Center for National Security and Technology, as well as Virginia Tech's study abroad center, The Global Education Office.

She attended Virginia Tech and received a B.A. in Multimedia Journalism and a B.A. in International Studies Global Development.
