About the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI)

CCI, which is funded by the Commonwealth of Virginia, focuses on the intersection of security, autonomous systems, and intelligence through research, innovation, and workforce development.

We’re a highly connected statewide network  of 41 higher education institutions, more than 320 faculty researchers, and a number of industry partners.

Virginia consistently has about 50,000 job openings in the cybersecurity field. Connecting students to internship opportunities is part of CCI’s workforce development mission, and we’re excited to introduce the commonwealth’s deep student talent pool to potential employers at our internship fairs.
