Navigating the AI-Driven Cyber Landscape
Sept. 16, 2024
Offense, Defense, and the Path Forward for Young Professionals
As artificial intelligence (AI) changes the cybersecurity field, those who want to join the cyber workforce must travel new paths to success.
With the rise of AI, many security responsibilities have become automated.
Previously, cybersecurity experts had to respond to alerts, policy changes, and technical requirements, making staffing shortages common.
Those holding entry-level positions were first responders to low-severity events, while senior staffers focused on higher-level tasks.
All that is changing.
Speaker Casey Dye will address these developments and offer advice on how to prepare for success in a changing field on Sept. 16, 2024, from 6 to 7 p.m. ET at Christopher Newport University in Newport News. The session will be held in the Freeman Center, Room 202. Refreshments will be provided.
If you can't attend in person, you can participate via ZOOM: The meeting code is 961 3180 3462.
