CCI Symposium 2024

Members of the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative and invited guests gathered at the third annual CCI Symposium April 15 to 16, 2024, in Richmond, Va.

CCI members will share news, celebrate achievements, and discuss research with colleagues during the event at the Omni Richmond Hotel.

We’ll present the third annual CCI Impact Award (nominations open Jan. 1, 2024) and Student Poster Presentation Award (submissions open Nov. 1, 2023) at the event.

Registration for those invited to the Symposium opens on Feb. 1, 2024. The last day to register is March 15, 2024. 

The cost for the symposium is a non-refundable charge of $55. You must provide a credit card number during registration. If you register, but do not attend, you will not get a refund.

While at the Symposium, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Meet colleagues and find new collaborators from across Virginia.
• Learn about future calls for proposals from top organizations such as the National Science Foundation.
• Take part in paper presentations
  
• Participate in the Student Poster session
• Attend the dinner and award ceremony for the third annual CCI Impact Award and the Student Poster Presentation Award.

Timeline

Lodging and Travel

A block of rooms has been set aside for the event at the Omni Richmond Hotel, 100 South 12th St., Richmond, Va. 23219, the site of the Symposium. 

Attendees are responsible for booking and paying for their rooms. If you drive, the Omni provides hotel parking for a fee.

Other transportation options include: two train stations (Amtrak Main Street and Amtrak Staples Mill Road); Richmond International Airport; and a Greyhound Bus Station.

Agenda

Events include paper presentations, a fireside chat, a keynote, agency spotlight, poster presentations, and an awards ceremony, as well as a social hour and three meals.
