Meet Up to Startup

Meet p to Startup Where entrepreneurs and investors connect

CCI can set up free networking events with venture capitalists for faculty and students interested in commercializing their research.

These informal events enable aspiring entrepreneurs to connect with leading Virginia investors to hear what they’re looking for, share research, and receive feedback.

  • Participants can discuss their work and its potential, especially if their research is ready for product design or they have a prototype.
  • Venture capitalists can get a jump on investment opportunities in what could be the next big thing.

CCI can schedule an event at one of the colleges and universities in the CCI network.

Interested in scheduling, hosting, or attending an event? Contact Sarah Hayes, CCI’s director of Innovation and Workforce Development.
