Cyber Fusion 2024 Draws Students from 21 Commonwealth Colleges
Feb. 23-24, 2024
About 150 students and 30 faculty advisors representing 21 colleges in Virginia attended Cyber Fusion 2024 at Virginia Military Institute in Lexington Feb. 23-24.
The annual event, organized by VMI’s Center for Leadership and Ethics, and co-sponsored by the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI) and Virginia Cyber Range, is open to commonwealth colleges and universities that are designated National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense.
Event activities included:
- A keynote speech by Oki Mek, Microsoft chief information security officer for the Federal Civilian Sector
- A job fair.
- A faculty/industry round table discussion hosted by representatives from CCI.
