Who can attend?

This is an invitation-only event for people involved in CCI-funded programs and projects. If you’re a researcher working on a CCI-funded project and didn’t receive an invitation, check your spam folder or contact CCI Managing Director John Delaney at jpdelaney@vt.edu.

How do I register?

Registration for those invited to the Symposium opens on Feb. 1, 2024. The deadline to register is March 15, 2024.

What is the cost?

Registration for the CCI Symposium is $55. You must provide a credit card number during registration. If you register, but do not attend, you will not get a refund.

You’re responsible for booking and paying for your registration fee, rooms and travel.

Because this is a research-focused event, PIs and Co-PIs might pull from travel funds within their grants for themselves and their students.

Where is the CCI Symposium taking place?

The event is at the Omni Richmond Hotel at 100 South 12th Street, Richmond, VA 23219. For more on the venue, contact the Omni.

I’m driving to the Symposium; where can I park?

The Symposium will be held at the Omni Richmond Hotel, which provides parking to guests for a fee. There is also a parking garage across the street from the hotel.

How do I submit a poster?

Poster submissions are closed.

Fill out the Google form to submit your poster abstract. Have your poster title, abstract, and research category ready when you submit.

If there are multiple authors or team members for your poster, please have only one author/team member make a submission.

How do I submit a paper?

Paper submissions are closed.

Is there a policy on photography?
