Background

Tunesha Witcher is Director of VUU Global and Online Learning in the Division of Academic Affairs at Virginia Union University.

She previously served as an Academic Instructional Technologist and Director of Integrated Technology. 

In 2018, Witcher developed VUU's first online faculty training course and assisted the university in getting approval from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to implement its first fully (100 percent) online degree program. 

Witcher has 14 years of higher education experience in technology instruction and online course design and 10 years of faculty development, including as an LMS Administrator and Computer Instructor for East Coast Polytechnic Institute School of Health Sciences. 

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and Master of Science in Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology.

She is a Six Sigma Black Belt and is proficient in Jenzabar and Canvas Learning Management Systems. She has certifications as an International SCRUM Master, Microsoft Innovative Educator, Microsoft MIE Trainer, Google Virtual Higher Education Trainer, Medical Billing, and Coding Specialist.
