Edge computing, emerging mobility, and applied AI & data science (especially at the intersection of machine learning and networked, distributed, and autonomous systems), aiming to make computer systems (e.g., connected vehicles and IoT devices) more reliable, scalable, secure, and efficient


Lu is an assistant professor in Computer Science at the College of William and Mary. 

She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, and a B.Eng in Electronic Information Engineering. 

Previously, she collaborated with Nokia Bell Lab and Northwestern University. She was also a research assistant at Wayne State University, and worked in the Toyota InfoTeach Labs.
