Ensuring security of health care data, opioid therapy strategies, aiding underserved citizens

Background

Sutter, a doctorally trained and credentialed family nurse practitioner, serves as director of a network of eight academic nurse-managed community clinics known as MAP (Mason and Partners) Clinics. 

She uses the clinics, which are strategically located in medically underserved areas (MUA) across the Northern Virginia region, to provide services to underserved and vulnerable populations and conducts translational research on evidence-based care for patients with limited resources. 

Sutter holds a DNP and an MSN in nursing (family nurse practitioner), and an AAS in nursing. She is a registered nurse and a licensed family nurse practitioner, and is telehealth certified and telemental health certified.
