Background
Cong Wang joined the computer science department at Old Dominion University (ODU) as an assistant professor in 2017. He is also affiliated with the Center of Cybersecurity Education and Research.
Wang is the recipient of COVA-CCI Cybersecurity Research and Innovation Award in 2020, ODU Cheng Fund for Innovative Research in 2020 and IEEE PERCOM Mark Weiser Best Paper Award in 2018.
Prior to joining ODU, he worked as a research position in the industry.
Alma Mater
Wang received his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Stony Brook University in 2016, a B.Eng. in information engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2008, and an M.S. in electrical engineering from Columbia University in 2009.
