Background
Alberto Cano is an associate professor with Virginia Commonwealth’s Department of Computer Science, where he heads the High-Performance Data Mining laboratory. He is also the Faculty Director of the High Performance Research Computing Core Facility at VCU.
He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, and M.Sc. in Intelligent Systems, an M.Sc. in Soft Computing and Intelligent Systems, a B.Sc. in Computer Science, and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering.
