Background

Diaz is a professor in Old Dominion’s School of Cybersecurity and the Department of Engineering Management & Systems Engineering in ODU’s Batten College of Engineering & Technology. He is also graduate program director of the School of Cybersecurity and director of the Cyber Supply Chain Research Cluster. 

He holds a Ph.D. in Modeling and Simulation and an MBA in Business Administration.

Diaz was formerly with the Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center,  where he focused on supply chain and maritime cybersecurity. He was director of the Advanced Analytics Lab and co-director of the Digital Maritime and Shipbuilding Lab.
