Zeng is an associate professor in George Mason University’s Department of Computer Science. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering. 

He is a recipient of an NSF CAREER Award., is associate editor for the Journal of Computer Security, and is chair of the Admissions Committee for Mason’s Computer Science Master's Degree Program.
