Research Summary
Michael McDermott's research focuses on the relationship between people and the objects they leave behind.

McDermott is an Assistant Professor at George Mason University teaching classes primarily in the digital space such as Intro to Web Design and Motion Design.

Prior to joining the faculty at Mason, he worked in Washington DC as a designer at a branding and design studio.
