Daniel Barbará

Daniel Barbará is a professor of computer science at George Mason University. Barbará's research interests are in the areas of machine learning and data mining, especially anomaly detection and text mining. His research has found applications on protection of industrial controlling devices by analyzing side channel emissions, such as electromagnetic waves.

Before coming to George Mason University, he held appointments in industrial laboratories as a senior Scientist.

Barbará received his Ph.D. in computer science from Princeton University in 1985.
