Research Summary
Ali Mehrizi-Sani's research focuses on how to protect and secure the future renewables-rich power system.

Background
Mehrizi-Sani is currently an Associate Professor at Virginia Tech.

He an editor of IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, and IEEE Power Engineering Letters. Among his recognitions are the 2018 IEEE PES Outstanding Young Engineer Award, 2018 ASEE PNW Outstanding Teaching Award, and 2017 IEEE Mac E. Van Valkenburg Early Career Teaching Award. He has also published over 110 peer-reviewed papers.
